Description
This two-week intensive course is designed to provide professionals from various backgrounds with the epidemiological techniques and tools to determine impacts of disasters and conflicts on human health. It will also cover the different uses of quantitative tools for the assessment of health needs in populations affected by catastrophic events.
Course fee
The course registration fee is €1,500 until de deadline of April 30, 2010.
Late registration is €1,600 until the deadline of May 31, 2010.
A non-refundable fee of:
- € 100 is included in the course fee until May 10, 2010
- € 500 is included in the course fee until June 30, 2010
The course registration fee covers coursework, printed materials, coffee breaks and lunches but it does not include accommodation, food, transport and insurance.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be made available on the university campus. These include single rooms in a dormitory of 6 to 8 rooms with common kitchen and bathroom facilities (pictures are available under Image Galleries). The expenses for accommodation are estimated to +/- €420.
